  • Well, as you can probably tell, this isn`t the most serious of images…But I got a giggle out of it… Hope you do too… The other colourways really need the white sections to make this work, but if your really interested in seeing another colour be made available, just hit me up.

  • More Reflections of the Past
    by rodsfotos

    US$4.32–US$98.80

I went over to my former home town of Totnes in South Devon UK.,this morning having checked that high tide was at 09,56 and all was still with the River Dart like a mirror and beautiful lateral warm light. A similar scene to my earlier Reflections of the Past image that was taken with my trusty old Nikon D100. Still getting accustomed to all the features on my recently purchased Nikon D300 but was more than pleased with the results of the images I took this morning, this one having little editing, just a slight perspective crop and a little sharpening. Nikon D300 / 18 – 70 @ 29mm / AP F16 for 1/13sec / CP Filter

  • Airbrushed and mixed media My Work Was Featured In Fantasy Art / (Thanks Everyone) Read the Collaboration of Written Work by Tony Hedger Part 2 of 2 / The way to get there is many in choice, / But a good first step is the inner voice. / By air, or water, by earth or fire, / Fairyland is your hearts desire. There you are free, all you can be, / And everything is real. / You could sit for a while, / Upon a sundial, / And chase the rays of the light, / You could float on the air, / Without any care, / Or fly with butterfly wings. / Buzz with the bees, and fly through the trees, / Float down with the falling leaves. You could go on a boat, / Through sparkling waters, / Made out of the shell of a tortoise. / Sit in the ring where the fairies all sing, / Drink, dance, fairy fling. / Diddle on the fiddle, play fairy in the middle, / Sparkle, shine, drink buttercup wine. / T’is close, you must believe, / Just follow the voice from within. Excerpt from poem, To Journey to Fairyland / By Joannda Riche Created in Photoshop, hand created images and mixed media. • Through the past
    by Michael Gatch

    US$4.32–US$98.80

This building has no visible floor, instead you tread on loose soil. I believe conveyors were fed through each of these small windows and this building was involved in the production of some of the smaller caliber shells used during the war. The Kingsbury Ordnance plant sat upon land acquired by the us government during ww2. some 13,000 acres were designated for this facility and it was operated throughout the war and then once again reopened for the Korean conflict. This is one of my favorite abandonments to visit.

  • Echinacea Dark Dreams
    by Karri Klawiter

    US$4.99–US$114.00

Echinacea purpurea (purple coneflower) with a dark twist. This was the first of my Dark Dreams flower series, most of which I have pulled from redbubble. It was also one of my first images here. Obviously it was photoshoped. I get a lot of questions about why there are scratches on it, it was to give it an old aged look. The texture would make it a great canidate for a canvas print… hint hint ;) This is the original: / I believe this is the largest image in my portfolio, and that is because it was taken with my old 35 mm SLR, then scanned in (I have a really good scanner that scans really big) If you are seeing this image in a group for the first time, that is because I just realized it wasn’t in any groups! I must have cleared it out to make room for newer stuff. This peice was my very first one chosen on the Featured Art page and was featured in Ebony and Ivory group. Thank you! —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-— / This piece can be found in my Flora Calendar. / For more products featuring this image, visit Karri’s Zazzle Store

  • 16”x24” Mixed Media (Airbrush and Ink) She looked through to her past, remembering, contemplating, holding it close to her. One day…she looked deeper…deeper yet and knew it was time to let it go. She released her past…and watched as it flew far away from her…to it’s own future…to it’s own place wild, open and free. Having let it go…she is now free, having looked through the past and on to the future. – By Carrie Glenn Featured in Out of the Past / (Thanks Jerame and Michael) Featured in Surrealism / (Thanks Hop Helen and Marison ) Featured in All Things Poetic, Prose, Philosophical / (Thanks Susan) Featured in Northwest Artists / (Thanks EllieWinds) Featured in The Healing Journey / (Thanks Julie) You can contact Carrie at: carrie@carrieglennstudios.com and please visit Carrie Glenn Studios /

  • Friday August 3rd It happened again tonight. The old fool had left the door unlocked; and there, above the cages, some apparently empty and some housing pink-eyed rodents; stood the vessel containing the precious green liquid and marked with the words: “NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION” once more, at my disposal. Thanks to yesterday’s acquisition of a rather splendid pocketwatch, I have been able to establish that administration of about 2floz of the serum is sufficient to remain effective for approximately two hours. I have thus resolved that, weather permitting, tomorrow’s edification will begin with the short trip into town whereupon I will partake in what will no doubt be another fruitful bout of “shopping”, after which with any luck, there will be ample time for a spot of inexpensive dining followed by a close inspection of the ample figures belonging to those delightful ladies up there at Pedlar’s Lane bathhouse, whom I understand, usually prefer to keep themselves hidden away from prying eyes. Dash it… Awfully sorry ladies!

  • thanks to a friend of mine, i realized i havent added one of my all time favorite shots i have shot to date / i shot this in oct of 2006 after a serious but freaky wind storm, packing winds up to 106mph in the great smoky mountains / we were very lucky to have any colors around after that wind storm / this was shot using a kodak easyshare 6490, way before my guardian angel of photography marianne venegoni (photoeyes) put that canon XT into my hands, / that kodak and i, had to come to an agreement before it ended up learning how to swim or fly, or smashed up against a wall!! / i finally got that camera off the auto settings and learnt the manual settings, i played around with it, experimented and experimented, learning what i could and couldnt do with it (it sucks for shooting wildlife!) but..on this particular day, guess it and i..just..got along / i still look at this shot after i printed it, and go..wow..damn I took that !! lol / hope everyone enjoys, if anyone is interested in a something larger then a card..please contact me its completely humbling when you have someone contact you and tell you , your work inspired them to be creative. this is the very first time in my life ive had someone approach me asking if they could give me their writing. / id like to thank loramae for this beautiful poem. Rushing Past The Colors… Laid on the floor of the world at our feet, / The beauties all of Heaven can afford… / Cast from the hand of the Great Almighty, / Creator of all things loved and adored… / Colors and hues unmistakable in beauty, / Gently caressing the days of our life… / Teasing and pleasing scents of perfection, / Waft through the air in most perfect delight… / Time in minutes and seconds build days… / such blessings live before the naked eye. / But for a moment stop and be so sure… / Your not rushing past the colors of life. I tried to copyright this poem to Loramae / the copyright sign wouldnt work! / If anyone is interested in a card with this sentiment on it, please let me know, I have a friend who is a master with stuff like this and i can ask her to create the template for me. / Loramae..thank you from the bottom of my heart, and i am so glad this work inspired that beautiful writing.

  • Book of Dreams
    by lex7

    US$3.99–US$91.20

This is a journal from my youth, however not a traditional journal. I was a dreamer, a wannabe romantic. This was my place where I stored quotes, pictures, songs, writings of my own, anything that inspired or touched me. I came across it the other day and thought I might try photographing it. I realize the picture is a little cluttered, but that was my intent. I wanted to give it a feeling of being from the past… perhaps victorian, which everything in that era was beautifully cluttered. Then I burned the edges wanting to give it another effect of almost being lost, which it seems sometimes that my passion that I had was almost lost until recently. / Comments are welcome, as are any helpful advice.

  • Totnes Past and Present
    by rodsfotos

    US$4.32–US$98.80

Time to try something different and I’d appreciate your honest feedback on this one please. Two highly reflective images taken in the portrait format, slightly cropped and reduced in size to fit on a black mask, total image size is 4500×3000. I took both of these images within minutes of one another from each side of the old bridge over the River Dart in my former home town Totnes, Devon. The PAST image is of the former warehouses and church converted to luxury riverside apartments, the PRESENT being a new block of colourful riverside houses recently built on the site of a former garage business.
