This is from the series Mars Attack “The Passover” The visitors are passing directly over us as we look in wonder. / All eyes are glued to the sky as we stand and tremble. / The dog is barking at the sky I wonder if he knows? / That soon our whole worlds gonna change forced on us by strangers! / My minds confused as I stand and look what the hell is going on? / Just last week we were in the church praying to Baby Jesus. / But this has put a different player in to my religion. / I wonder who he’s praying to or even if he cares! / My wife’s still looking at the sky as I struggle with my mind. / And all my neighbors are in a trance as this thing go’s by. / And little Trudi’s standing there she’s peed in her new blue jeans. / And her friend Kim from down the street has done the same thing too. / And Mike the guy who’s always ready to come and play some cards. / Is on his knees in his front yard praying up to God. / My mind is still a little foggy as I look to all my neighbors and then Judi comes up to me and says she’s really frightened. / It looks to me that everyones scared as we look at it pass by. / And then I hear someone start to scream so loud it waked me from my thoughts. / Its Janis who’s from the next block over she’s the local artist. / I guess this night will get her busy painting brand new things no more fruit on little tables for this pretty lady. / She’s pointing in the other direction and oh Lord what’s that I see? / As far as my eyes will go are these giant flying sauces. / We all stand and look up at the sky I think someone has fainted! / Yep its Fred my kinky neighbor this is even too much for him as he’s passed out on the front yard in his pink rubber suit. / As far as my eyes will take me its full of flying saucer I guess these things aren’t joking now it looks like they mean business! / And running down the streets towards us is my online friend named Karen. / She’s telling everybody that these things are gonna kill us all. / I tell her to sit on the grass and take a little break if they had wanted us dead it would of been all over. / So here we stand all looking up and all that I can see is the sky so full of visitors to bring a change to our blue Planet! End of Part 4

Time heals all wounds. Time flies when you’re having fun. Time stands still. Time waits for no one. If I could turn back the hands of Time. Frozen in Time. Timeless…. you get the idea. Well, I wanted to create a series that perhaps captured the essence of these things, in relation to human emotion. And so my Time series was born. I know in my heart what each of them means, but I did not name them anything specific, so that the viewer could make up their own mind as to the meaning of each piece. I think that is something unique to every individual. So…my heartfelt thanks for continuing to watch and support my artistic endeavors. It feeds the fire that burns and inspires. / Aimee

MY FAVORITE COUNTRY ROAD / Best viewed large. / / / / “MY FAVORITE COUNTRY ROAD” was featured in the group COUNTRY ROADS/AROUND THE WORLD / / / / “MY FAVORITE COUNTRY ROAD” was featured in the group NATURAL COLOR AND LIGHT / / / This is a recent photo of my favorite country road! It is located in Flatwoods, Kentucky, in Greenup County, which lies in the northeastern part of the bluegrass state. Many of my relatives live in or just outside of Flatwoods, and my Dad built this one. / / The scenery from this road is almost surreal, it is so beautiful. Surrounding this road are country farms, barns and old churches. This road winds around a gorgeous mountain cloaked with a variety of lush trees and evergreens, whose leaves are radiant in the Fall of the year with brilliant shades of yellow, orange, red, brown and green. / / At the top of the mountain is the end of this magnificent road, which leads to a private, gated mansion that overlooks the entire county. It is very quiet and peaceful there, and everything, including time, seems to stand still on this beautiful road. It is a breath-taking view from the very top, and this is truly my favorite country road!.. / / / To read and learn more about this special country road, / go to:COUNTRY ROAD

Hello You! Word just came through the ranks and…
Hello You! Word just came through the ranks and I have been given charge of our delicious Buyers’ Booth, which is most exciting for me. Anyway as far as I can make out the rules are quite simple. Grab your recent RedBubble purchase, whatever it may be, and get a picture of it, and you, or your dog, upload here, sit back, have a cup of tea and see if you win. Pretty simple eh? What criteria might I use when deciding? Well, this is a site all about creativity, so let’s put that at the top of the list, and then put comedy at the bottom, but not put anything in between. So creativity and/or comedy. I’ll be posting here every friday, so keep an eye on me. June 26 Champion Please take a moment to cast your eyes over this weeks winner. It’s not just the perfectly suited medium of canvas to really bring depth to the image that caught my eye, nor even the indoor evergreen plant in the top right, clearly hinting at the new life brought to this forgotten civilisation. But the mannequin itself, a subject so often ignored. Merely an anatomical coat hanger. But here she is no ordinary dummy, this host has been suitably attired for her role, bangles, eyeliner, lipstick and a well fitting tee, she thrusts the image into our faces, impossible to ignore. Marvellous. A well directed shot, congratulations WarriorPrincess a voucher will soon be pinging into your inbox. See you all next week.

Hello World! Yes, it’s Wednesday AGAIN, so it must be T-Shirt of the Week. Every seven days I’ll take a gander at the recent uploads of tees and find one that catches my eye, then post it here, write about it and even link to it from my Twitter account. The winning shirt will be on sale at a 0% markup for the week, and any sales generated in that time will get the artist a 60% margin in RedBubble vouchers. They will also receive a special commemorative certificate and of course fame, not the sort that sends you crazy though. / / —-—-—- T-Shirt of the Week Champion – Week Two – seanseen This has that wonderful and unique feel of being made with a human hand and a pencil. Well I mean it shouldn’t be unique, most of us have hands and pencils, but sometimes it feels that way. / Seriously, look at that turntable, it really has no idea where it’s perspective is, how marvellous, I wish my turntable looked like that, and it’s playing a yellow vinyl. What could it be? The re-release of Yellow Submarine? The special edition of The Velvet Underground and Nico? Who knows, but what on earth are you doing upstairs? Get down there and cut some moves across your 1968 Ege Rya shag-pile rug. Or just go and see who’s fiddling with your record collection. / / A well placed, well coloured and nicely styled drawing. Good Work Seanseen. —-—-—-- / Now go show him some love. More work from seanseen: / Regards, Mr Baxter – Inspector General of Writing Mighty Adjectives About Mighty Shirts —-—-—-- Follow my every exciting move on Twitter. / And add me to your watchlist.

Hello World! Because I am a man of routine, it’s Picture of the Week time again. Every seven days I’ll peruse the recent image uploads and find one that catches my eye, then post it here, write about it and even link to it from my Twitter account. The repetitive but informative bit: / The winning image will be on sale at a 0% markup for the week, and any sales generated in that time will get the artist a 60% margin in RedBubble vouchers. They will also receive a special commemorative certificate and of course exposure, not the sort that gets you arrested though. / / —-—-—- Picture of the Week Champion – Week Three – Matthew Parsons This is crazy, a muted ‘70s postcard, an abstract shape lovefest and a still from a Tim Burton movie rolled into one, with some subtle vignetting to draw you to the eyes. Not that you really need it, they’re MASSIVE. What is that thing? A tug boat? Tug boat builders in Canada have the sort of comedy streak we need to see in our politicians. And in the corner, ‘La Petite’, surely some fine irony. Love the crop, love the angles, love the colour, love the surrealism. That’s a lot of love. Great eye Matthew. —-—-—-- More work from Matthew. / Go show your appreciation. My memory is not what it once was and he was a huge talent. Look at Josie dancing there, her hair not pestered by trifles like ‘gravity’, trailing her stuffed companion and a balloon that thinks it’s a flower. Or vice versa. This has a timeless quality that makes you think of summer and your childhood, when you didn’t have to worry about mortgages. I’ve no idea where the island it, perhaps it’s in her head, or her pocket. You should illustrate some children’s books I reckon. Good Work Blakeus. —-—-—-- / Now go show some love.
