A sunny day today for a change, so took my little Grandaughter to the local country park to feed the birds, and excuse to get out with my camera. Spotted this on the banks of the fishing lake and thought it was interesting, especially with the reflections on the lake. The old log is definitely a habitation for some creature, there were seeds and droppings in the hole and it went way deep down inside.

Is a large park in the centre of Berlin and is absolutely gorgeous. It use to be a hunting ground and was designed back in the 1830s by landscape architect Peter Joseph Lenne.

In Australia you do not hold your head up too high. Tall poppies are lopped first. In this case there are a few too many for individuals to get lopped. The mower will come around in a few days and clean them all up as this is parkland. Taken with Pentax K20 camera and 18-55mm Pentax lens @ 55 mm 1/500 f 6.7 ISO 400
