  • Old Building from the late 1880’s

  • Old Buildings always have a story to tell

  • Just take the old ladder to the Second Floor and unload the old pipe

  • Surreal red sandstone rock formations project out onto the beach at the edge of Cape Chignecto Provincial Park on the shores of the Bay of Fundy. The Bay of Fundy generates the highest tides in the world, and it is the eroding action of these 10 meter (32 foot) high tides that are responsible for shaping the landscape along this shoreline in such odd ways.

  • A solid barrier of pine trees stands tall atop a wall of exposed red sandstrone facing a gray stone beach on the shores of the Bay of Fundy, just outside Cape Chignecto Provincial Park, Nova Scotia.

  • The dark reddish sky is reflected in the waters of Georgian Bay off the shores of the village of Tobermory, Ontario, Canada. The shadowed islands on the horizon are part of Canada’s Fathom Five National Marine Park.

  • Taken in Northants / D90

  • Black and white crop from a full 360° panorama shot across 5 exposures and merged to HDR. This is a double-tone mapping converted to black and white in Photoshop.

  • The river valley in edmonton, alberta, canada. Tried to create a hyper real effect by pushing the raw setting. It gives it a simulated HDR feel. I also applied an Orton type effect to it after converting to black and white, I think this is representative of winter in the capital city.

  • Marianske Lazne aka Marienbad -Czech republic

  • Bradgate Park Kiting!

  • Today, I decided to go to Lake Balboa (a park/small lake) after therapy and walk around for exercise and take some pics. I wanted to try that HDR stuff again. This area has these beautiful pink trees, I mean gorgeous! I took 3 shots, one normal and the other two +2 and -2 and merged them in Photoshop CS4 then adjusted the levels. Canon 40D, Natural Light HDR’d :) I will master this LOL!! I WILL :)

  • Taken at the edge of the lake in Marsh Creek State Park in Downingtown, PA. Taken with Nikon D80

  • sunset on the forest reflected in the water

  • Sunset in Oregon’s Cape Arago State Park

  • A March afternoon comes to an end.

  • A rare warm, sunny afternoon in early February in Oregon’s John Toppits Park

  • Sunset on an alien planet…? Actually, just an optical illusion provided by the sun reflecting off the edge of the lake in Oregon’s John Toppits Park.

  • John Toppits Park on the southern Oregon coast, autumn 2006

  • Yellow spring blossoms in a park in Beijing

  • A tree and the sky at the park
