I packed a thermos, phoned a friend and spent a beautiful spring day at Araluen Botanical Gardens in Roleystone. Every year thousands of tulip bulbs are planted and each year the show of flowers is brilliant. These are the best shots of the days, I hope you like them.

On my way home from work on October 20th, 2008, I drove past this pond between Columbia and Lake Avenues in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The water was exceptionally still, the streetlights perfectly highlighted the fall colors, and the moonlit sky glowed a deep indigo blue. I nearly slammed on the brakes the moment I laid eyes on the scene. It didn’t matter what my plans were. The next thing on my schedule had just become “set up a tripod”. Every time that shutter closed I giggled with excitement.
I havent really taken many autumn leaf pictures this year. Not really had the time to be honest. Was having a chat with a friend of mine, over a couple of cans of chu-hi in the park. This bench is down near the fountains in Yoyogi Park. Nikon D300 / 85mm f/1.4 AF D @ f/1.4

Colmslie Beach Reserve. Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Sometimes random things come together and upon pressing the shutter you know that you got something nice. This little boy jumped onto the small wall as I was shooting what I thought was going to be a graphic image. Turns out I got the little prince.

Monument Valley Tribal Park, Navajo Nation – Arizzona – U.S.A / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-— Totem Pole and Yei Bi Chei The one-way loop road continues close to Rain God Mesa through increasingly sandy ground; large dunes rise up to the south, in front of the larger Thunderbird Mesa, and a shallow wash (Sand Spring, the main water source in the area) runs alongside. At the edge of the sands is another isolated group of spires (Yei Bi Chei) next to which stands one of the most well known peaks in the valley. Totem Pole is a tall, red sandstone column, 450 feet high but only 40 foot across, slightly detached from its neighbors, and pointing skywards against a backdrop of wide but more distant cliffs of the Tse Biyi Yazzie and Hunts Mesa formations. The pinnacles are quite far from the viewpoint (one mile) so not easy to photograph in detail. A closer view is possible from other tracks further south, which form part of the extended guided tour across the southern half of the park. The beauty of color in Autumn. Autumn marks the transition from summer into winter, around late September in the United Kingdom. Night becomes visually noticeably ,the cold felt with a strong need not be alone. This is part of my autumn theme. / Location: Warwick Park area of Tunbridge Wells – Kent UK
