Park snowing

  • Man walking away from the photographer on a cold, wet, misty winters day.

  • Black and white image of a lone park bench covered in winter snow.

  • Green fir trees at the edge of the forest. / Rodnei National Park – Romania.

  • Canon 1D Mk.II-N / Tokina 12-24mm f/4 Just jacking around and I was like, “SARA!!! JUMP!” haha

  • A Mute Swan swims up the last few hundred yards of the River Leven, heading for Loch Lomond. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, Scotland.

  • This path follows the course of the River Leven from Balloch village to Balloch Pier and the Lomond Shores complex. The path is in a green corridor, created when Balloch Pier Station was closed in 1989. The line was pulled up, the ground levelled and turfed and a path was made through the woodland to the east of the old track. All that’s left of the old rail infrastructure is Balloch pier platform and station building, and the original Balloch Central Station, only 100 yards from the newer Balloch Station, also opened in 1989.

  • Taken on a beach at the River Leven. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, Scotland.

  • River Leven, looking towards Balloch. In the centre of the shot you can see a rather brave rower out on the water. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, Scotland.

  • It looks like the entire Gull population had taken to the frozen waters of the Loch Lomond Shores area. It’s strange…to the best of my knowledge, prior to last year, no part of Loch Lomond had frozen over since the late 1960s. Now it’s happened twice in as many years.

  • Young boy enjoying the adventures of flight at Roland Memorial Park in Arkon, Pennsylvania. Check out the emotion on his face. The community park was crowded with hundreds of kids and adults enjoying the freshly fallen snow and having the time of their lives. (Canon Rebel – XT)

  • Loch Lomond Shores, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, Scotland. The paddlesteamer in the picture is The Maid of the Loch, and the mountain in the centre of the picture is Ben Lomond.

  • Snowshoeing on Hurricane Hill in the Olympic Mountains on a crystal-clear day post-snowfall yielded an almost unobstructed view across the sound to Canada.
