  • A child’s hand holding a mauve African daisy, against a white background

  • Travelling with Pets

  • The male and the female bluebird were the Mr. and the Mrs. in this past nesting season in my yard. They brought into the world about 8 or 9 new baby bluebirds this spring and filled me with joy as I watched the family’s drama unfold. I placed the two of them together in this image which would make a lovely “Will you marry me?” card, a wedding card to accompany a present, a Happy Anniversary card, or a simple “I love you” card for that couple who wants to celebrate their togetherness. It could also be a good way for children to say they appreciate their parents. Whatever the case, I hope this image brings smiles to many faces as the bluebird of happiness is so expert at doing!

  • “DON’T RUSH ME, THERE HAPPEN TO BE ALOT OF CHOICES HERE AT / ‘CHEZ McDONALD’S’. WELL, WE AS PARENTS REALLY ‘LOVE’, TO HAVE OUR CHILDREN EAT THAT C.R.A.P., WE TRY TO AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS, BUT ONCE IN A WHILE… IT STILL SUCKS. EVEN THEIR BOTTLED WATER HAS CHEMICALS IN IT.

  • father and son

  • This baby lamb (with Dry Brush filter applied via PS) makes for a cute birth announcement, “It’s a Boy” with traditional blue as background color. Note the “It’s a Girl’ version in my portfolio in traditional pink.

  • Father’s Day crossword puzzle describing dad.

  • My Morning Glory are still blooming in / Different colors / New Hampshire

  • SpaceKid travels the galaxy encountering the strangest creatures both strange and bizarre! Despite spending his days traveling the cosmos, all the while documenting his incredible adventures with his trusty visi-capture, amazingly the lad still manages to make it home in time for dinner – ensuring that his parents never learn of his true space faring nature.

  • Well I had to do it, here’s my Father, my inspiration in so many ways. Celebrating his 75th B Day on October 3rd. All that comes to mind when I think of my parents is THANK YOU so very much for everything. Such a great inspiration, married for 46 years. I could go on about him and my mom on how great they were but I’ll let the image do the talking. / This one is for you my dear parents. I love you very much. Shot with a Canon Xt, sigma 105 macro lens, converted to black and white.

  • mainly inspired by a dad i saw escorting his boy down the street – the dad’s hands never left his pockets, and he guided the unruly child down the path with a rather impressive display of footwork -i’ve exagerrated for effect of course - i also think this twisted truth teller is a good metaphor for the political spin of the world’s ruling powers

  • Here is one of the parent swallow’s of my pair of babies (see “Ready to Fly the Coop”), they are darling birds & living quite happily within the confines of a busy railway station. Mandurah, Western Australia

  • If you are one too – you’ll know just how it feels…

  • This is the single remaining parent of the four goslings I recently posted. I’m not sure what happened to the other parent, but I suspect it’s not good news. As a single parent, this goose has to do double parent duty, and is very protective of the goslings – it hisses and gestures at anyone getting too close to its young. The dominant gosling is now imitating this behavior and also hisses and gestures at passers by. Canada Goose (Branta canadensis) / Crown Hill Park, Lakewood, CO / Sony a700 / Sigma 150-500mm / Giottos tripod, Acratech ballhead, Wimberley Sidekick ISO400, f/8, 1/800sec, 500mm

  • TIME FOR DINNER / Best viewed large. / / / “TIME FOR DINNER” was FEATURED in the group IN THE HEARTLAND / / / While visiting my parents the other day, I noticed some busy bees flying around my Mother’s beautiful Crown-of-Thorns plant, which had grown all up the side of her house. This is a macro shot I was able to capture of one of the bees on top of one of the flowers. As more bees gathered on the plant, I assumed it was “time for dinner,” as they feasted on lots of nectar from the Crown-of-Thorns. / / / Photo captured with my Canon EOS 40D camera.
