  • “PARENTS OBEY” departs from the complicity after the popular Shepard Farey “Obey” images and street art. It introduces an ambiguous element around the idea of social surveillance and obedience through the depiction of a baby in the message, baby that demands and is subject to parental obedience. An infantile message from one that supposedly has no formal authority, and yet it positions himself at the axis of control of his family surroundings.
