  • Looking south along the beach at Surfers after a quick storm had passed through. Burleigh’s almost hidden by mist(can just make it out)29/11/08

  • The fish have been biting well on this stretch of the Nerang River and I like the way the clouds show in the reflections on the water. View of Surfers Paradise from the council chambers at Evendale.(29/11/08)

  • Over looking the Nerang River towards Surfers Paradise with a nearly full moon rising. This little spot has been providing me with plenty of Bream and Flatty’s the last few days and is not a bad place to watch the world go by from this sandy stretch of beach.

  • 19 March 2009 ~ Snapper Rocks 18:55:37 ~ Enjoying the view (from left of image) towards Bilinga, Tugun, Currumbin, Burleigh Heads and Surfers Paradise in SE QLD with planes tracking across the night sky towards Coolangatta Airport. Some nights its great to just sit on the rocks for a while, try something new and soak in the world as it goes by! Enjoy (Canon 5D Mark II, 24mm, no tripod, ISO 320, 155”, F10)

  • Returned to this spot for a quick fish approaching sunset. With the cooler days of winter here the bream are starting to show up in large numbers. It’s not a bad view looking across the Nerang River towards the Hi-Rises of Surfers Paradise

  • Sunrise over Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Early Dawn, after a 3 hour drive from Noosa, we arrived to this beautiful scene, just in time :) Body of water is the Nerang River. Canon 50D, 17mm, 16:9 crop. Available large, and best viewed large!

  • My baby (EF 70-200 F/2.8 IS Lens) finally got some workout!! Last Saturday we went for a shoot. It was 5:45 start, the morning after my daughter’s Debutante ball, ( here, and here), and I had less than four hours of sleep. Only after we got to the location, I opened my bag and – imagine the shock!! – realised that the previous night I took all the filters out – since you don’t need The Black Glass for the dance night! Luckily I had my new baby with me, and she had a bit of a workout, just the second time after I got it a month ago :-)) Canon 30D, / Canon EF 70-200 F/2.8 IS Lens, / ISO:100 / Apperture: F 8, / Speed: 1/400 of a second, / FL: 125×1.6 crop factor / Image:RAW
