  • Just as I am leaving an area full of Black Swallowtails, this one comes up. Of course Im shooting as fast as I can because it didnt stick around long. Unfortunately for me, it flew off to another field :(

  • Found this Swallowtail Caterpillar starting to prepare its chrysalis on a leaf on a tree in our garden … it had just started to spin its threads and was suspended above the leaf ..   • I only spotted these high in the rain forests, for just a moment or two. Never still even when feeding. One day, just once, he came down to visit!

I thought this was a Blue Triangle butterfly but on closer inspection I don’t think so, all my books are packed away at the moment and I’m not having much luck with my search on the net…...shall continue looking unless anybody can enlighten me.
