This was another shot from the other day at Sunset. I really wanted to bring out the amazing colors of the sunset and shooting directly at the sun was hard to get a good exposure especially with the standard canon kit lens I was getting a fair bit of lens flare (Cant wait till I my Sigma 10 -20 mm lens). So I bracketed 3 different exposures all 2 stops apart. I used a cokin ND grad filter to try to keep some of the color in the fore ground. / I really liked the contrasting colors in this shot and the tree made a nice Silhouette I then used Photomatrix pro to convert the 3 images into a HDR . Final curves and sat were done in PhotoShop.
FULL VIEW PLEASE** This shot of Cottesloe Beach in Western Australia was from early this morning at Sunrise. It is another favourite place of mine in WA and I wanted to catch get an image of it at sunrise . I took several attempts trying to find a good angle and right exposure to capture the indain tea house (building on the left) and the ocean . In the end this was my favourite out of the lot , I really liked the movment in the water , gave the photo a really nice feel . It was a pitty there was so much foot prints in the sand as i got to the beach at 04:30am and there were a few people down the beach already . This was 3 shots stitched in Photoshop to make this panorama . / I found this one difficult becuase the light changed a lot from each shot eventhought i was shooting in manual mode .
Another shot from the beach at sunset . / I think the location was City Beach . / / As I was walking along the beach the sunset turned an amazing red . / I had to run back up the beach to a log I had found earlier and use it for my point of intreset . For those who don’t know you can see the City of Perth in the background behind the Swan Brewery building and directly across the river is South Perth . Full View Please This shot was from the other day at Sunset . Which was really amazing . There is something about Summer Sunset and Sunrises in WA which makes them so much more colorfull then any other time . The photo is of the City of Perth again lol in Western Australia from across the Swan River . I Shot this photo from the South Perth River bank with the Ferry Jetty leading into the city . It is a panorama shot again , the original was 8 shots which went 180 degress , but i croped this one to just the main focal points . I used Photoshop again for the stitching and color saturation , curves , contrast and noise reduction were done . FOR LARGER VIEWS OF ALL MY IMAGES http://furiousxr.deviantart.com/ **
