On a moody Spring evening, dense but scattered clouds roll across the bay threatening to open up and pour on anything that falls their path. The setting sun casts its light across the clouds making them glow in a way that makes them appear to be on fire. The stunning colour of the sand comes up through the shallow water in unusual blues and greens while at the same time mixing with the oranges and reds of the sky.

This image was taken @ Port Willunga at the remains of the old jetty. On a recent journey back to Port Willunga recently, I’d noticed that many of these posts had been burnt. Drove up here after a long day of taking photos hoping to catch a good sunset, ended up being pretty good. A composite of 15 images if you include the 3 shots taken to make each HDR photo. Stitched together using photoshop and did a bit of touching up in Lightroom. Sales 1 Matted Print 1 Poster On Saturday the 7th of February my family lost our home away from home at Marysville, as well as our two Rhodesian Ridgebacks and our Abyssinian cat. I mentioned a couple shots ago, I was working on a monster pan..Well this one took a fair bit of work to pump out, but I’m extremely happy with the result and the hours upon hours of work tends to be worth it in the end… / 51 shots make up this image, 17 shot pan – portrait oriented x 3 shot hdr, over a Gigabyte in it’s full raw mode, PC herniating at every step – untill I got the size down to a reasonable level after most of the raw adjustments were made.. / Taken on the Mornington Peninsula N.P, Portsea Ocean Coast – actually takes in both up and down the coast and of course, that fantastic stormy light… / Thanks for having a look….cheers, Rob..
