  • Horseshoe Bend is the name for a horseshoe-shaped meander of the Colorado River located near the town of Page, Arizona, in the United States. It is located slightly downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell, about four miles or 6 km south of Page. Accessible via a 3⁄4-mile (1.2 km) hike from U.S. Route 89, it can be viewed from the steep cliff above, forming a spectacular vista. / This image is actually made of 4 pictures taken with my Canon 20D – 17-40mm L lens and stitched together to create this panoramic

  • A winter panorama shot of the valley Valldal on the west coast of Norway, taken during the christmas holiday. Stitched together of 15 pictures. Post-processing: / Stitched some pictures together, obviously. Fixed the contrast with curves, added a lighter curve only on the lower part as the valley was pretty dark, and the mountain tops really light. Added two black and white layers set to hard light (140%), mainly on the sky and the mountain tops.

  • The Saunders Street Steps, on the Water of Leith walkway, Stockbridge, Edinburgh, Scotland. The steps lead up to Saunders Street which crosses the Water of Leith on the Saunders Street Bridge. The Water of Leith Walkway is a public footpath and cycleway that runs alongside the small river of the same name through Edinburgh, from Balerno to Leith. Linlithgow Bridge is dominated by this Viaduct which was constructed in 1840 to carry the main Edinburgh to Glasgow railway line across the valley of the River Avon to Linlithgow, which it still does today. The viaduct has 23 arches, a maximum height of 85 ft and is almost 900 feet long.
