a delightful port on the little il de Ré another of Frances’ little gems taken from the top of the church tower! Several times I wondered about the madness of going to the top (when those stairs were built they were for small french people – not for tall big feeted english women!! This is overlooking the one part of the port the Atlantic/Bay of Biscay lovely and blue after a very grey start to the day… Taken with my Pentax Optio M50 as is Featured in French Architecture January 09 / Featured in The Compact Group 30 January 09 / Featured in Victorian Viewfinders Group 3 February 09 / Featured in Going Coastal Group 14 February 09
