The middle-aged buck decided that it’s time to show his serious face for a change this morning, as he is often playful and funny.

The doe took a little time off from busy eating for the photo opportunity, although she didn’t want to give up the tasty colorful leaf. By now everyone who has ever seen my work knows that I’m absolutely “addicted” to develop a deep relationship and establish an intimate communication with mule deer (we don’t have a lot of white-tailed deer around here). Everyday I go out there in the early mornings, hoping to have a close encounter! :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Nature Canada
The doe kept following me around, trying to get me to take a serious portrait of her and finally she got it! ;)
An old commission I did for a friend on Gaiaonline. I like this, I hope you guys do too…
Another Commission for someone on Gaia. This one if I remember correctly took a very very long time, but I think I did it either earlier this year or last year. Either way I still like it. Other Print Options: /
In “Seagull In Flight 2” the focus is primarily on the seagull and it’s contrasting shadow. This is the actual shape of the canvas This is where the entire shape of the canvas itself becomes an integral part of the overall theme. The canvas is tapered to give the illusion that the top of the canvas is leaning back and the bottom is protruding forward towards the viewer. / The blue represents both the waves of the ocean and the point where the horizon line of the ocean and sky meet. / The seagull itself is reduced down to its barest essential shape and color. With one wing up and one wing down representing the seagull’s constant wing movement as it seems to hover above the seascape. I am really fond of the hyper real effect and try to incorporate some of it into my work. Not HDR, but pushing the raw settings to create an extended dynamic rangr effect. Sometimes it works. Other times it does not. Shot at Capital Ex in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, summer of 2008.
There is something magical that happens when you walk into a tent of butterflys. Immediately, your world is tranformed into a scene from Legend (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089469/). Butterflys swarm you and stick to every part of your body. It’s awesome. / featured in ! # 1 ARTISTS OF REDBUBBLE !
I have to thank the person who posted the link to the Fractalius plugin. After seeing this filter used on pictures of parrots, I gave it a try on a butterfly. The effect gave it a dreamy state in my opinion and I hope you like it.
This is an oil painting from a few years ago.It was very small, about the size of a post card. More of a color study than anything
