  • This image came about in an awesome way for me. Two weeks earlier, the model, Margrit, was telling me a bit about her life. She’s lived and travelled in many countries and taken lots of opportunities. She has also achieved great success with her photography. Several weeks later, I had an unusual chance to photograph her in an old train – the perfect location to reflect her life’s journey. / In Australia, Margrit has achieved her LAPS and AAPS, and is the only West Australian women to received international photographic honours AFIAP. She’s a perfectionist and it shines through in her work. Visit Margrit’s website

  • Siamese Fighting Fish :)
    by Tom Godfrey

    US$3.85–US$102.60

First fish Freddy of the original Siamese Fighting Fish clan, blasts off in his bowl. His mission, to avenge the insults levelled at his earth cousins, by grumpy humanoids. Aggressive and down in the mouth, indeed! He would show them, the water in his bowl was adjusting for space flight, shimmering slightly as the shock wave passed and he entered orbit. Soon he would shut down the hyperlink wormhole drive, drift gently into suspended animation, and wait. He clutched his shoalshifter, armed with the latest IRBMs (inter-reef ballistic missiles) and smiled, not that anyone would have noticed. He drifted into a deep sleep, as his bowl iced over and sped towards earth… My offering in a three-way collaboration. ChrisW wrote the story, “Dinner With Fighting Fish” and will add a ref photo. If my image fits Chis’ concept, then master paintograher, Cliff Vestergaard, will weave his magic.

  • Solitude
    by TerriRiver

    US$31.35–US$167.20

The bridge reminds me of an emotion of solitude, which is not to be confused with loneliness. The former leads to an internal peace and being one with nature and oneself while the latter was a feeling of being forced to be alone, deprived of freedom and choice. I used to call this photo “Peaceful Bridge” until a young patient of mine (at the time she was nine years old) explored the difference between solitude and loneliness. When the image was presented to him as an illustration, he exclaimed, “Oh, solitude is peace, inner peace!” And the true title of the piece was born. • En-trance
    by Daniela M. Casalla

    US$4.28–US$114.00

Warrior of the Light / “A warrior of the light does not spend his days trying to play the role that others have chosen for him. A warrior of the light does not waste his time listening to provocations; he has a destiny to fulfil. A warrior of the light knows his own faults, but he also knows his own qualities. A warrior of the light always does his best and expects the best of others. A warrior knows that the farthest-flung star in the Universe reveals itself in the things around him. It is even more difficult to define a path for yourself. The person who doesn’t make a choice dies in the eyes of the Lord, even though he continues to breath and to walk about the streets. For a man has to choose therein lies his strenght in the power of his decisions. When a person really desires something, all the universe conspires to help that person to realize his dream. When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it. You can become blind by seeing each day as a similar one. Each day is a different one, each day brings a miracle of its own. It’s just a matter of paying attention to this miracle.” / Paulo Coelho

  • Ducks In The Woods /
