  • On Main Street in Lexington sits the Southern Inn. This painting depicts the building as it is familiar to those of us who live about; bathed in the light of a bright autumn day. The sun’s light cast strong shadows across the buildings facade and the only working neon sign in town. As it flows across awnings and to the street, it accents a small pile of fallen leaves in the gutter; a seasonal cherry on the visual sundae. Acrylic on panel

  • There has been one sale of this image. In November 2008 this image was featured in the group, Buyers R Us. In February 2009, this image placed third in the U.S. Parks Wildlife Shots challenge hosted by the AMERICA’s National Parks and WILDLIFE Habitat group. A thousand Yellowstone wonders are calling, ‘Look up and down and round about you! John Muir – 1898 The temperatures were in the single digits on this cold, snowy January morning at West Thumb Geyser Basin, which is one of the smallest geyser basins in Yellowstone. A incredibly scenic area along the shore of Yellowstone Lake, West Thumb only has a small amount of geyser activity. However, the basin more than makes up for it with its diversity. Despite its small size, it has paint/mud pots, hot springs, pools, lake shore geysers, and fumaroles. Fumaroles are small openings that release steam and other gasses. You can see in the foreground the muddy, soupy waters inundating the paint pots. The white area beyond the tree line in the right hand side of the photograph is Yellowstone Lake. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Please don’t copy or download this image. • Acrylic On Canvas A piece that was inspired about watching Wong Kar Wai’s film In The Mood For Love, set in 60s Hong Kong. A story about forbidden love and in the story, the female and male leads shared some special moments in room 2046 – writing martial novels :D The chinese title of this movie is Hua Yang Nian Hua. The Chinese title, Huayang Nianhua (translated in the subtitles as “Full Bloom” but more accurately meaning “those wonderful varied years”), is more suggestive of period nostalgia and the Shanghai association, pointing to an iridescent, kaleidoscopic age of bygone elegance and diversity. / You can view and purchase my other “Hua Yang Nian Hua” creations from my Zazzle Gallery: / /

Linaji 2009 All things are possible if we start right now to believe that here in this moment is our POINT OF ATTRACTION / That no matter for how long or what has been going on that does not seem to work can change in an instant if we understand that everything that can ever possibly happen can only happen at this point in time. NOW That everything changes when we start to see that life is suppose to be FUN and we can allow the infinite possibilities to formulate the best path for our desires to manifest. I have never seen this more true than my own life. As everyday I soften my thinking to better feeling thoughts I experience new vista’s to guide me towards that which I am becoming and that which I desire. Today has been such an easy day full of butterfly vibrations and lovely sounds and visions and YOU! xox

  • Another of my Watercolours I was happy with. Migrating from Oils to Watercolours is hard as I find Watercolours so permanent. At least in Oils you can fix up and fix up… and fix up. Mind you Watercolours are much quicker so you can always start again. Plus clean up is even better! Painted a couple of years ago so unclear of paper, but my guess is that it was a Medium grain 190gsm Plus I have now put together a Calendar of a few of my favourite works / :

  • I just found this old painting that I did years ago. Thought I’d share it. It was accepted into the Art.com “Urban Expressionism Collection” back in 2006. Acrylic on canvas. Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’ Matthew 25:34-40 / /

  • Night crawled through the window, hoping to not be seen, fell across the bed and made itself comfortable. / “I didn’t invite you.” / There was no response. Night began to whisper to itself in a dream. Its dark shadows fled the mattress and drooled over onto carpet, up the side of a night stand that cradled a temporarily favorite novel, a lamp that had once belonged to the owner’s mother and a stack of unread books purchased at the Goodwill store. Night crawled up the side of the wall and across a painted canvas. It shielded its eyes from the glare outside. Yellow neon shifted in ribbons around cardboard and brick. Headlights beamed, streamed and faded. The sidewalk was bothered by dark shapes streaming back and forth, flickering in jerky animation at times and at others, folding in smooth drapes of darkness, like blue-black frosting. / Night moved. It always on the move. Following. Escaping. Searching. Always moving toward the light. Or away from it. Sometimes Night wished it could lay down and stop running. Just for twenty-four hours. But it never could. / It grabbed its hat and moved smoothly, silently back out of the window and across the street. / “Oh, well, another day another sunrise.” Night said to itself. Then it turned to look back and shouted. “By the way, I’ll be back, whether I’m invited or not.” Change of Scene is acrylic on paper 15”x20”
