Minimalist abstract study of speeding cyclists, focusing more on the dynamics of the speed and motion of their movements / Oil on Stretched Canvas – No Airbrushing 37 X 59 inches / 94 X 150 cm contact my Agents at Gallery 112 / .....................................................................................
Acrylic and metallic paint on canvas, 46” x 38”. This is a commissioned abstract work for a client re-staging her home for sale. I created this expressionistic piece to tie a black, white and tan gallery art wall I created together and to become the focal point of the room. / I call the work “Outside The Lines”, in that the strong black lines create structure and balance and yet the color does not conform to the boundaries. The wild movement of the colors contrast and create chaos within the design of symmetry.

Sunsets at Menindee Lakes can be awesome. Giclee Reproductions are available: visit www.suehodge.com.au / For more prints by Sue Hodge visit: http://ochresands.redbubble.com The following is from the NSW Tourism website: / http://www.visitnsw.com/town/Menindee/Menindee_Lake_System/info.aspx The Menindee Lakes System begins on the Darling River about 200 kilometres upstream from the junction of the Darling and Murray rivers at Wentworth. There are four main lakes, Lake Menindee, Lake Cawndilla, Lake Pamamaroo, and Lake Wetherell created from a series of natural depressions that filled during floods. The Menindee Lakes and Darling River were a lifeline for early explorers and it was thought the Darling would provide a means to develop Australia’s interior. The flows of the river proved to be unreliable causing difficulties with navigation and water supply and the idea of using the Menindee Lakes for water conservation was born in the late 1890s. Today the lakes and dams create a welcome water haven in the arid Outback landscape as well as a bird-watchers paradise where bird watching tours are highly recommended.

Color represents a rate of vibration, or a harmony within our energy field. The colors have different vibrations, properties and represent different levels of awareness. We even choose to wear colors that harmonize with our own energetic field. Red – energy / Orange – energy, peace / Yellow – peace / Green – healing & growth / Blue – spirituality / Torquoise – healing & spirituality / Indigo – spirituality & divine protection / Purple – wisdom, knowledge & divine protection / Pink – love / Gray – fear / Black – unknown & unconscious / White – truth & purity / Brown – grounding This is a photograph of a prism crystal close-up that I played with in Redfield plug-ins (fractilius) in photoshop7 Colors of the Wind

I was experimenting with water and food colouring in my DIY studio at home. I put drops of the dye into the water and then quickly focused before the dye sank to the bottom. I also used thin white plastic with a light behind it to bring up the vivid colours. After viewing this in my digital darkroom I flipped the image just for fun to give it another dimension. It sort of looks like flowers growing up out of the ground.

This painting is acrylic on gallery wrapped stretched canvas. It is 11” w x 14” h. Kokopelli was one of the earliest spirit figures represented in the petroglyphs and cave art of the very early Native Americans—the very first Americans. He was believed to bring success with crops and also to bring good luck with the ladies. He was usually depicted playing a flute and was considered to be the patron of music. He is usually depicted with a hump on his back.
