The sunset represents the sunset at the end of your life. The missing / pieces represent the experiences not yet completed, and at that age / you are a wreck. This oil painting was created Aug.15 1993. I lightnened the centre / slightly and added a couple extra puzzle pieces after croppin it a bit.

Oil painting / / Passion…..the town of 1770 is magical, where else can you camp right next to the beach,under palms beautiful fishing swiming scuba diving sailing pelicans and squabling seagulls waiting for a hand out, trips over to see the famous light house,wonderful sunsets sitting on the sand with light brezes wafting over the sand, flying possums over head and to top it off my favouite pastime painting in thick yummy paint out in the fresh air on site. Pastel on colourfix paper small A4 size / I Painted this in almost mono ..pinky mauve with a touch of dark green in similar tones , the whole landscape was bathed in pink light , this is a beautiful place to take photos and paint a magical scene day or night over looking the panorama of Sorth East Queensland towards the Scenic rim of ancient dormant volcanos . / /
