Wildflowers take seed where the wind decides.
One of my challenges in this lifetime is learning patience….patience with myself…..patience with the unfolding of life….patience with my creative process…. Spending quiet time observing nature—watching a robin patiently waiting for the right moment to grab a worm…..watching the process of the opening of a flower….or watching a turtle diligently make his way along his journey…...these times bring me awareness of the natural rhythms of life and I feel more patient within myself.

Indian Paintbrush are among the first of the wildflowers to bloom in our high arid mountains—and the last to remain in autumn. They range in color from deep sanguine red to bright yellow, and I have seen white ones once or twice in my lifetime. The most common color is bright orange. / (2008.MAY.23) RedBubble Album: Botanical Wonders Of The Great Basin Canon 350D EOS / Tamron 55/200 mm

You can sketch with your digital paintbrushes. I began with a basic navy sketch, then began to add color and detail gently, blending with my finger and thumb. I only use my mouse pad but others do use Wacom Tablets. I began this way so don’t know that I’ll change at this time. / Just wanted to show my new friend what can be done on a laptop!!!! Thanks for looking!!!!
