Another of Daylesford goldfield memories but well into the C20. These people were able to afford paint and decoration around the veranda, and the roof has been kept in repair so it has lasted very well. The veranda roof was out of fashion for years, but recently I have seen some new ones. The windows appear to have been replaced. The red glass beside the door is something I remember from homes I stayed in when younger. The door knocker was a common design.
