What are we to say about how the divine eye sees our world or we may see the divine world in comparison to our own. This thought inspired a more surreal feel to the finished product. A Wave

This original acrylic painting on canvas was created to depict a surfer intimately caressing the wave face as he is about to get tubed. By touching the face of the wave he feels his way through, controlling his speed and checking his position on the face. The anticipation part is untrue as he only has to wait a second to reap his reward. Somehow, in the tube time seems to be slower than “normal chronological order”. Thus the title to this work. / Sailor Girl is a mixed media production on canvas textured paper, I used ink, pastel, and some acrylic…..inks are mainly black, acrylics are mainly white, you can see the canvas texture showing through the pastel, which gives it a nice textured appeal I am really into sailing boats, hope you like this one :D Here’s another one available in a print at last!

My first try at painting the sea; I thought a big wave would be nice to try. Just finished it. / Acrylics on canvas, 2008, 40×40 cm It’s a 4 cm thick canvas frame and the sides are painted, so there’s no need for a frame really.

Another in the Masters series. / This is the centre part of a long panoramic watercolour. By Thomas Bush Hardy, 1895. I’ve moved some of the boats to be closer together, as my version is a small painting, 10×7 inches, on rough Bockingford tinted cream paper, 140lb. I will be painting the full length seascape in the future.
