  • A water lily called the Earth / The cosmos called her pond / Her water bestows the gift of birth / Inseparable life’s bond / / This water lily blossoms life / Like petals of a flower / Diversity is always rife / As that is her true power / / Earth is the flower in our galaxy garden where life blooms exponentially, and it is the water on Earth that gives it that life. The water on Earth is what makes Earth so unique amongst the planets we are able to observe. Every form of life on Earth, whether plant or animal, is comprised primarily of water. / / Science surmises that water is the root of all biological life. When astrophysicists scour the heavens looking for planets where other life may exist, the first thing they look for are signs that the newly discovered astral body has, or has had, signs of water. / / Let us all not take our water for granted, and treat water as the true gem of all of Earth’s resources… as it is more rare and precious than any gemstone. /

  • Nature sculpts both hard and smooth / From mountains high to woman’s breast / Her work does both entice and soothe / For eyes that gaze as though possessed / / She cares not of the critic’s word / Her art not made for some contest / Nor of what mortals preferred / Or what they think may be her best / / Her care is of function and form / As all her work truely attests / Her living art that does perform / On canvas that does never rest / / This painting was inspired by the ultimate sculptor, which is nature. Nature creates art that all other artists aspire to try and capture and mimic in their own creations. The concept was to combine two of the most magnificent forms of art that nature creates, that of the woman and that of nature herself. This is what nature would sculpt if nature did mixed media. / /

  • this was my first painted mask 2006. Then I was inspired by the chaos magic, but as theurgy. I had a really great wish and this sigil symbolised this. – Last year the mask was falling from the wall and was broken; and my wish was never come true.. sometimes the destiny has a dissent. the sigil-ritual is a great possibility to manifest his own wishs at the subconscious mind; love, health, satisfaction etc.. if it is believed about this. It’s assimilable with neurolinguistic programming or affirmations- techniques; you can be what you think. / The power of thoughts can to effect so much if they are at first entered in the subconscious mind. And this is not magic. acrylic painting on ceramic mask. Today fits this song I Can’t Make You Love Me was featured in Colour Me Vibrant Red! 25.9.2009

  • Diptypch painting – Acrylic, mixed media on primed board (H.7” W. 2” x 5”) From the Exhibition Hidden Treasures ( Annual Post Card) Cairns Regional Gallery Artist Statement / The vessel imagery often used is a symbol-metaphor for our being, how we fill ‘with meaning’ (open, receptive, upright form) and empty, pour out (upside down image) our ’’thoughtful’’ thoughts in words and deeds! The colours used and ‘x’ shapes imply one’s physical and spiritual ‘connections’ and ‘relationships’ as we keep transforming as humans ‘being’. Work sold – Private collection (Kuranda)
