Fiiiiiiinally finished. A companion piece to this one I did a year and a half ago: I decided the other day that there was a distinct lack of blue paintings in my folio! Had to rectify the situation. He is approx 30cm square, watercolour/pastel etc on canvas. He has shiny silver leaf on his spikes too.

Sleep, those little slices of death, how i loathe them. Oil on canvas 70×70 / still thinking about the title but this song was playing. still painting this with the help of my awesome mentor, Paul D Robertson, who also helped with providing a series of photographs of myself to draw and paint (there are more in my gallery) . so unfinished. / Check out My Latest Series / ‘Precious Illusions’- Alanis Morissette you’ll rescue me right? in the exact same way they never did.. / I’ll be happy right? when your healing powers kick in you’ll complete me right? then my life can finally begin / I’ll be worthy right? only when you realize the gem I am? but this won’t work now the way it once did / and I won’t keep it up even though I would love to / once I know who I’m not then I’ll know who I am / but I know I won’t keep on playing the victim these precious illusions in my head did not let me down when I was defenseless / and parting with them is like parting with invisible best friends this ring will me yet as will you knight in shining armor / this pill will help me yet as will these boys gone through like water but this won’t work as well as the way it once did / cuz I want to decide between survival and bliss / and though I know who I’m not I still don’t know who I am / but I know I won’t keep on playing the victim these precious illusions in my head did not let me down when I was a kid / and parting with them is like parting with a childhood best friend I’ve spent so long firmly looking outside me / I’ve spent so much time living in survival mode

Fictional painting I did this painting because I actually saw in my dream last night a crow. I took it from some place that I don’t remember. I was holding it with my hands and I do remember perfectly that in a weird moment I turn my head back and the crow was sleeping. It was the most strange thing I ever saw in my life – I remember I was watching the crow sleeping and breathing exactly like it was a human or even closer, I was feeling like I was watching a little puppy breathing. / ROUBLE 13×18 cm / Acrylics & Gouache on black canvas

Oil Pastel and Acrylic (With minor digital enhancements) For all the troubled souls out there, Ophelia wishes that you a pleasant sweet good night’s sleep and rest soon :D In times like these with many suffering from economic and job woes, there are people losing sleep over the lack of certainty of their futures….some of these are my close friends….a good night’s rest has become such a rare commodity for them. This started off as an encouragment card, send this card to someone who hasnt been getting restful sleep lately due to all the preoccupations with his/her woes. Oil Painting I have done of one of my prints. The process is very different and the results are also. I spent about 2 weeks painting this one. It is a large canvas size and is done entirely of oil paint. I think when I originally designed this print I was reading my favorite artist Hudertwasser! Thanks Billy
