2009 Aussie Acrylic Art by Ciska
This one is in progress; I’m not really sure if these selected images are the ones I want o include in this one. I’m open to feedback. To see my entire fine art collection, see here (this link also includes my graphics. I’d be more than glad to switch images around to suit personal preferences.
Being an artist allows me to experiment in different styles. From abstract to impressionistic, from rennaissance to realistic, from naive to contemporary….. But it is impossible to completely hide my recognisable style when the artwork is finished. You will find it in the eyes of people & animals, and the bright colours I so love. In this calender I chose a variety of styles I’ve done so far. You decide which style is your favourite!

Winter in all it’s guises... Fresh-fallen snow, untouched by man, tops bushes fence and tree; / The strong, gusty wind, whirling it ‘round, improves and enriches its beauty. / It sauntered down in the silence of night, leaving a scenic delight; / Now, in the sun, it dances and winks as we drink in the woundrous sight. / This is a picture-post-card scene – winter at its best; / It leaves a mark etched in our heart of when winter was our guest. Poetry Road
Food, glorious food! / What wouldn’t we give for / That extra bit more— / That’s all that we live for / Why should we be fated to / Do nothing but brood / On food, / Magical food, / Wonderful food, / Marvellous food, / Fabulous food.
