The symbol of the horned god.
This is one of those images that i’m proud about, because it incapsulate most of what i’m about its posertive colourful and has my celtic spirit weaved all the way through it, and if was fun to draw and colour. some of the work i produce can take weeks were as some images like this one seem to have a life of its own and demand to be finished
This image came about from no more than a nickname given to a friend. every time we went anyware it always rain and the wind picked up. I know its maybe no more than bad luck, but the name kind of stuck and even now some years down the road our friends still use it. / This image was one that just came together as if fully formed in my mind and maybe that because of the story that goes with it, but it still brings a smile to my face
Available as a card only.
Amber the cat sitting on a besom. Probably trying to escape from her brother Jet.
This is another of the witchy images that i have resentley finished, And in the end i ended up redrawing it twice after making a number of mistakes, and one image my moggy used as his bed, but then as many of you will know thats cats for you. / The image shows a young witch drawing on the power of the full moon to aid her with her magic, this is quite a powerful spell as the moon control much that happens here on earth. / Weather, the seas and even that time of the month are linked dirrectly with this hevenly body. There is even proof that the birth rate increases when the moon is full. And to those who hold the moon as a goddess like myself her power is in evedance all around us, so mote it be,
My tools of trade
Kyphi in the foreground, a rock crystal, the Kyphi bottle and musk grains. / Kyphi is a compound incense that was used in ancient Egypt for religious and medical purposes. The term “kyphi” is Greek and a transcription of the ancient Egyptian term kp.t. / All recipes for kyphi mention wine, honey and raisins. Other identifiable ingredients include cinnamon and cassia bark, the aromatic rhizomes of cyperus and sweet flag, cedar, juniper berry, and resins and gums such as frankincense, myrrh, benzoin resin and mastic.
Digital painting based on celtic mythology and my love of crows.

Witchcraft can refer to the use of such powers in order to inflict harm or damage upon members of a community or their property. Other uses of the term distinguish between bad witchcraft and good witchcraft, the latter involving the use of these powers to heal someone from bad witchcraft. The concept of witchcraft is normally treated as a cultural ideology, a means of explaining human misfortune by blaming it either on a supernatural entity or a known person in the community. A witch (from Old English wicce f. / wicca m., also compare hag) is a practitioner of witchcraft. Wikipedia here Halloween (also spelled Hallowe’en) is a holiday celebrated on October 31. It has roots in the Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian holy day of All Saints’ Day. It is largely a secular celebration, but some Christians and pagans have expressed strong feelings about its religious overtones. Irish immigrants carried versions of the tradition to North America during Ireland’s Great Famine of 1846. The day is often associated with the colors orange and black, and is strongly associated with symbols such as the jack-o’-lantern. Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, wearing costumes, ghost tours, bonfires, costume parties, visiting haunted attractions, carving jack-o’-lanterns, reading scary stories, and watching horror movies. Courtesy wikimpedia here Brooms have long been connected with witchcraft, almost universally portrayed as medieval-style round brooms and associated with female witches. Despite the association with women, in 1453, the first known case of claiming to have flown on a broomstick is recorded, confessed by the male witch Guillaume Edelin. There are, however, prior records of witches flying on sticks or similar objects, usually that had been first greased with a magical flying ointment. Anecdotally, the broom served another purpose during periods of persecution. Witches and other magic practitioners would disguise their wands as broom sticks to avoid suspicion. It is also a tradition that brooms have been used by some as receptacles to harbor temporarily a particular spirit. Today the broom is included in lists of ritual tools in many pagan guide books, where it is often referred to as a besom. A broom is sometimes laid at the opening of some covens’ rossets. Representing the Element of Air, brooms are utilized in the purification of areas. They are used to sweep ritual circles clean of negative energy. The high priestess or high priest walks clockwise, traces the cast circle and sweeps with the broom a few inches off the ground. This practice can be used in addition to or in place of incense to purify a ritual space. It is often employed by those allergic to incense, and during rituals practiced in smoke-free areas. It is also a technique associated with “kitchen witches” who use what’s on hand to work spells. As a tool of purification, decorative brooms are sometimes hung near doors to cleanse those entering a house.
