  • Acrylic painting on canvas. / Since being a child, cats have been and continue to be very important to me. I’ve indulged myself here with heaps of colour and one of my favourite subjects.

  • For all the cat lovers out there. I tried to create different expressions on these colourful feline faces.

  • Young boy riding a huge bike and his long shadow on a sandy field, at sunset in Pagan, Myanmar (Burma) All proceeds from sales of pictures will go to the child art education project of Art in All of Us (WWW.ARTINALLOFUS.ORG)

  • Heaps of cats, heaps of colour…I lost count when painting these…they are also around the sides…at least 70 of them!

  • A Baying Wolf, is a sad and haunting sound you dont hear anymore, to me it seems as though they knew long ago it would come to this pass, hence their howling started. A rare sound indeed. / Wolves are an endangered species and have been hunted for centuries and nearly extinct, hopefull through careful conservation these beautiful beasts will be around forever and everyone can hear their special song. On the rise her head lifts / The breeze takes the howl adrift / As she cries, for the life of her pack. / The mournful sound of loss and grief / Is carried upon rustling leaves. / For what is done, is done / And there’s no going back. For a moment, in the Golden haze / She sees me from where I stand / And from the depths of my heart I feel her pain. / With pride she holds my gaze. / Her Forgotten song goes unheard to some. / But I hear her all the same. I close my eyes. / Her words are soft and wise. / One single tear adorns my cheek, / As she finds the words she wants to speak, / She tells me the story of the Forgotten Song. With that, she appears before me / No longer is she upon the hill I see. / I reach down to touch her, / She is not real / But I feel the warmth and life in her fur. She allowed me this moment of insight / Before she fled back to the night. / And suddenly, / Under my fingers was no longer the softness of her fur / But just the gentle spirit of her / And of the Forgotten Song. / For what is done, is done. Many thanks to Laura for this beautifully written poem

  • The phonograph, or gramophone, was the most common device for playing recorded sound from the 1870s through the 1980s. They continue to be manufactured and sold into the 21st century, although in small numbers. While there are many audiophiles who still prefer vinyl records over digital music sources (primarily compact disc) for their perceived fidelity, they represent an enthusiastic minority of listeners. The quality of the available record players, tonearms, and cartridges has continued to improve, despite a diminishing market.

  • I loved the colour and texture of this old suitcase that I spotted in Bo’Ness Railway station in Scotland. Bo’Ness is a small town on the banks of the River Forth which is home to a very well preserved steam railway. The old station has been extremely well preserved as an early 20th century train station. This photograph won 1st prize in Stirling and District Camera Club’s Annual Print competition for 2008.

  • Everything on the walls behind the kid is work that I did either in grade school or high school. Yes, I still have EVERYTHING that I did back then. It’s taking over every nook and cranny in my house, much to the chagrin of my loving wife. What can I say, I’m sort of a pack rat. Do I really need the cartoons I scribbled on my math homework when I was eight? No. Am I going to keep it anyway? You better believe it.

  • Ever had a dream where your skydiving and someone switched your parachute with your lunch? Dont forget to check out my profile for even more cool designs! /

  • I’ve used three photographs to produce this image. Two for the wolves and one for the background. / For paint effects I used Photoshop elements and for freehand painting, cloning, layers, colour ajustments, I used Corel X3.

  • Hand to photoshop / WOLVES / NIGHT WOLF / SPIRIT What we do to our Animals, We do to ourselves. Voices of the Endangered If I wandered, off alone, / Would you notice I was gone? / Would you see what I have seen? / If I wandered off the scene / Would you even think of me? In all the mountains I have roamed / Sat high and called to all my own / If I wandered, off alone / Would you notice I have gone? When through the silence of the night / Through the shadows of moonlight / Will you search to hear my plea? / Will you even think of me? Like the others I have known / Who no longer here, do roam? / In the darkness of the night / Do you feel my heart in flight? If I, were never more to roam, / You would be standing here, all alone. • The grey wolf or gray wolf, also known as the timber wolf or simply wolf, is the largest wild member of the Canidae family. Occasionally, single wolves are found in the wild, though packs are more common. Lone wolves are typically old specimens driven from their pack or young adults in search of new territory. Wolf packs in the northern hemisphere tend not to be as compact or unified as those of African Wild Dogs and Spotted Hyenas, though they are not as unstable as those of coyotes.Normally, the pack consists of a male, a female, and their offspring, essentially making the pack a nuclear family. The size of the pack may change over time and is controlled by several factors, including habitat, personalities of individual wolves within a pack, and food supply. Packs can contain between 2 and 20 wolves, though 8 is a more typical size.An unusually large pack consisting of 36 wolves was reported in 1967 in Alaska. While most breeding pairs are monogamous, there are exceptions. Wolves will usually remain with their parents until the age of two years. Young from the previous season will support their parents in nursing pups of a later year. Wolf cubs are very submissive to their parents, and remain so after reaching sexual maturity. On occasion in captivity, subordinate wolves may rise up and challenge the dominant pair; such revolts may result in daughters killing mothers and sons killing fathers. This behavior has never been documented in the wild, and it is hypothesized that it only happens in captivity because dispersal is impossible. There are no documented cases of subordinate wolves challenging the leadership of their parents.Instead of openly challenging the leadership of the pack leaders, most young wolves between the ages of 1–4 years leave their family in order to search for, or start, a pack of their own. Wolves acting unusually, such as epileptic pups or thrashing adults crippled by a trap or a gunshot, are usually killed by other members of their own pack.Asiatic and Middle Eastern wolves tend to be less inclined to socialising with any other member of their species outside their own nuclear family, passing their lives more frequently either in pairs or as social individuals, much like coyotes and dingoes. “Pack of timber wolf’s ….....” was featured in Wolves & Wild Kin “Pack of timber wolf’s ….....” was featured in Cards: Animals and pets… “Pack of timber wolf’s ….....” was featured in phoDOGraphy
