A depiction of an achiever striving to climb to the top of the social ladder, however risky that may be… Self-portrait using tripod and wireless remote. Lighting consisted of ceiling halogen spots and two clamp-on brooder lamps with 150W crystal clear incandescent light bulbs, positioned to light the wall behind me and reduce shadows, while procuring a little on my legs from the sides. I had to make several tries going up and down the ladder, checking the results, making adjustments, climbing back up, pushing the remote button, going back down again to check/adjust… Focal length 35mm / ISO-800 / Aperture f/5.3 / Shutter 1/13 sec.
