  • These are rather like broad tagliatelle and I prepared the dish like this… / Roast about 10 cherry tomatoes cut in half, in olive oil with 5 garlic cloves and a sprinkle of dried chili for twenty minutes. Halfway through the roasting, add some small whole mushrooms. I used oyster, buna-shimeji and shiro-shimeji varieties. Meanwhile bring some water to the boil, add salt and the pappardelle. After 5 minutes, add a handful of baby spinach leaves and cook for a further 6 minutes. / Serve the pasta with the roasted, tomatoes, garlic and mushrooms. / Total preparation and cooking time 25 minutes. Buon appetito! The lighting was overcast daylight (the best diffusser) through my kitchen window. N.B. This image is now for sale as laminated kitchen art! • Featured in the Canon DSLR Group – Thank You / / Canon 40D with 18-200mm Sigma lens at f5.6, ISO 250, 100mm, Exp -1 Ceduna is a township on the Western edge of the Eyre Peninsula of South Australia, known as the Oyster capital of Australia. Ceduna is an ideal base for exploring the pristine ocean and rugged coastline from Baird Bay to the Head of Bight. Whales are plentiful at the Head of Bight during the winter months, and the surfing at Cactus Beach is arguably some of the best in Australia. The beautiful Gawler Ranges are a short drive inland. The fishing is great all year round. Smoky Bay and Denial Bay oysters are amongst the world’s finest, grown and harvested in the region’s pristine ocean waters and gentle tides.
