Owls at Claythorpe Mill, Lincolnshire.
Little Owl at Woodlands Farm near Lincoln, Lincolnshire.
A pair that livesw at Kalbarri on the mouth of the Murchison River – they were just gorgeous. These were the first pair of wild ones I’d ever seen – they barely moved all day, just opened their eyes occasionally and glared at us.

Follow the continuing adventures of Edward Lear’s Owl and the Pussycat, on their eventful and only temporarily disastrous honeymoon! After previously pushing off at Alice & Co in Fitzroy, Melbourne, our intrepid couple have finally reached safe moorings in Adelaide, and are all set to spread their message of love and courage in the face of adversity to all corners of the globe aboard their saucy little vessel (which still doesn’t have a name, by the way)! Come and celebrate their safe arrival and their new adventurous embarkation, while enjoying a glass of wine and delicious nibbles – as well as the opening of two new exhibitions and a special Christmas shopping evening at the Hahndorf Academy! Our guest speaker will be Maggie Emmett, eminent Adelaide poet and convenor of Friendly Street Poets! ankhou’s invitation

Original art to wear. Mixed media art transformed to a tee shirt with native American animal symbols.
There is some posture and posing and purple and pink in this random shot taken from my window. /
This is a picture of a Barn Owl, taken in very poor light on an ISO speed of 800 on the out skirts of North Somercotes Lincolnshire UK. I wasn’t very happy with the digital noise so I decided to experiment and tried a grunge effect. All comments are very welcome, as this is a experiment and I would like to know what people think of it.
A tawny frog mouth from the zoo as well. Couldn’t resist the stare he was giving me.
