The Storm The storm looms overhead, pounding rain, hail, lighting & thunder. There may be a tornado headed in this direction. Trouble threatens everyone. In my distress I turned & called out to God my Father in heaven. And God saved me, He was my only hope. / Anyone can call out to God, then follow his way so you will be safe. Psalm 18: 11-21 Psalm 18:11 He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies. / Psa 18:12 At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and bolts of lighting. / Psa 18:13 The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hailstones and coals of fire. / Psa 18:14 Yes, he sent out his arrows of lighting, and scattered them; and he shot out lightning. / Psa 18:15 Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils. / Psa 18:16 He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters. / Psa 18:17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them, which hated me: for they were too strong for me. / Psa 18:18 They confronted me in the day of disaster: but the LORD was my support. / Psa 18:19 He brought me forth also into a large place; he rescued me, because he delighted in me. / Psa 18:20 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands has he rewarded me. / Psa 18:21 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God. We can all turn to God & be washed clean of all we have done wrong, we can be made righteous by the blood of the lamb, God’s son Jesus Christ. We can turn from our wicked ways & have a clean slate with God. Christ paid the price for us. Jesus took our punishment on the cross. He made us victorious with him in the new life when he conquered death. He sent us the promised Holy Spirit so we can live with power, now. Thank you God for this victory through Christ Jesus, Amen. I was blind, sinful & stupid once but now my eyes are open my friend. Now I walk in the gracious mercy of God. I listen to him & I am changed from the inside out. / I know no matter what storm looms over head, God is with me & will never leave me. Turned an image of railroad tracks reflecting the light of the setting sun into a high contrast abstract in Photoshop. To me, it made a more interesting image when I flipped it up side down. Dryden, ON. Olympus E-510; 10-150 mm lens / ISO 200; f:8; 1/25 sec. / Equivalent focal length: 158 mm
