I photographed this majestic blue heron in Point Lobos State Reserve in CA. This painting is actually pretty darn huge, and it’s hanging in my living room. My wife hates it and often refers to it as the “throw up painting.” It’s a bit of an experimentation for me (the kind of work I really don’t do all too often.) I don’t hate it. Even if my wife thinks it’s a “throw up painting.” More people seem to agree with her more than me on its merits, but screw em’...I painted it, I like it… If you’ve got a problem with that, why don’t we step outside and settle our difference with out FISTS!?
