Canon Powershot with IR filter “As Is” / Brandywine Falls Ohio / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-— / I have been waiting for this kind of shot for a long time. The storms were fierce with a ton of rain last night. I decided to take of work and spend the day at the falls near my house. I must have snapped 200 pictures today. What a great day!! I found a new toy its my infrared lens. This was one of those freak photos, straight off my camera, the only thing i changed was the white balance and the original was in color!!!... i walked straight past this spot on the walking track and my friend pulled me up!!! Spider webs were every where, there was late afternoon fog that had nt lifted, sun was perfect, dead trees, it was all there!! 30 mins later when we walked past, the sun was too low and the fog had lifted and the web could hardly be seen!!! freaky…......right place…......right time…....hahahaha…

This is the same shot as Birch Allee Vista Reverse with the effect I used on / The Color Is Spreading / / For some reason with this shot if you stare in the center of it / It kind of looks like the color is spreading like a virus. / Figured I would share. Title says it all :) There was a huge pile of leaves to choose from and I found this one on top of the heap. I never took closeups of leaves before so I discovered something I never realized before…....The colored shiny sides of the leaves held little or no droplets and the back sides of the leaves held all of the tiny droplets perfectly. Never knew that :)

Miss Lizzz walking down a path leading from an abandoned quarry near London, Ontario. June 2009. I don’t often do long shots like this as I prefer to have the beautiful women I am lucky enough to capture up close, but the trees framed her very well. At 8:25pm, it was really beyond useful light for hand held amongst all these trees. The sun was now on the horizon and behind clouds. The Path, 2009 was 1/80th sec, ISO 800, f4.0.
