The storms were fierce with a ton of rain last night. I decided to take of work and spend the day at the falls near my house. I must have snapped 200 pictures today. What a great day!! I found a new toy its my infrared lens. Captured along the Mount Evans Wilderness in Colorado, this is one of those waterfalls that kind of sneaks up on ya outta the blue, and if you blink, you actually miss it. I really don’t much in the way of long exposure shots, but after being happy with how this one came out, I am going to start doing them more. Hope ya all like it! Such a mighty stream! No surprise that the waters of Trümmelbach are so powerful; the area this brook drains includes the famous glaciated mountain trio Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau... Lake Falls in Matthiessen State Park is possibly the most magical, spiritual waterfall I have ever photographed. It is special and always blesses me with a wonderful spiritual feel to it. It inspires me to be religous in some way that I cannot explain. / The whirlpool is like God. He has no beginning and no end.
