  • the pyramids in Gizeh are great but also very very touristic and one thing I don’t like is hordes of people going to the same thing, so even I go there I always wanna go to ‘the oher side’ I find its mostly better..and more real, it’s interesting and a good change to meet the ‘locals’.... Egypt

  • A behind the scene look while I painted some of the wall. Thanks to my daughter Shelby for taking the photograph :~)

  • It’s all in the details;) A behind the scene look while I painted some of the wall. Thanks to my daughter Shelby for taking the photograph :)

  • Pretty simple concept here, it’s a calendar of some of my favorite work. Plus, you get a giant self portrait of myself on the cover! (Proving once again that my vanity knows no bounds.) How could you possibly resist something with the words “Googely Mooglies” printed on the cover? You couldn’t – you shouldn’t.

Thanks very much to all the Moderators responsible for selecting some of my work to be shown in the Featured sections. I was very pleased with all the features, but the poem was the one that stood out for me as special. My writing just plods along and I don’t spend much time on it. When the inspiration comes, I write. Otherwise it’s all about imagery for me. Thanks !!! James

  • This is sunrise in my work 7am, 10.12.2008. View from window my office:))Olsztyn, Poland…. Photo made my iPhone:)

  • This mural was created sporadically over the course of a couple months at work during my 15 minute breaks. It represents my shifting state of mind from mid-August to mid-October 2008. That time in my life was sort of a rebirth for me, and I felt like commemorating it by drawing it. This piece was all done in ballpoint pen on the back of six old 8.5”x11” coverage sheets destined for the recycle bin, which I salvaged and taped together. My method was essentially the same as for my other Accretions: just sit down and draw without a plan, letting the images come and flow into one another. As always, I later scanned in the image and painted it in Adobe Photoshop CS3. Some of the artifacts of the tape and whatnot are still visible in the final piece, as a reminder of how it was constructed.

  • painted with crayons and finally added effects in PS

  • This is what I see when I turn around and look at the shelves behind me at work. A response to The 100 step Program OK, so my 100 steps were in a circle instead of a straight line….

  • High Beck Tavern, Columbus, Ohio. These are a few of the plethora of paintings hung upon the walls in this tavern by a local illustrator in Columbus, Ohio… another artist chasing his dream. His name is on a sticker among the paintings which I originally mistook for just another bumper sticker. oops… my bad

  • Really just a complicated way of saying look at things from a different perspective. Got some inspiration from the where the wild things are type.

  • BW Portrait © Two Mate Effort! I was, and am, lucky enough to have had this portrait taken by one mate, who lives on the Gold Coast, and then Post Processed by another mate, who lives overseas… Have had this for ages and was not really game to upload it as it seems a bit “vain” but then I thought, if those two people had not put so much effort into this originally, I would not even have this! / If it seems too odd to have this here, please let me know! I am a bit shy, still, when it comes to stuff like this! Seem to have hit a creative strike lately, and am still waiting for it to end! (where is that AMalLeeT?!!) LOL! / Vicki If you are interested in having any work “glamourised” or “taken”, please contact me for their details! UL20091202
