this lovely lady is showmn with very little post processing. the interesting background is a result of lighting. it is somewhat dark in the pine trees where the cardinals like to sit, so to give myself enough light to capture them, I set up two spotlights to shine on the branches they like to sit on. I like the effect!!
Ivan is rapidly growing up, now has at least 4 red feathers on his throat. He will become a very handsome young man, and certainly heir to the throne.
