ok sorry i know i have a few of this guy up but i can’t help photographing him! He’s so sassy and becoming very brave. Little one spent an hour outside this morning sitting right beside the table and he would come down and land on the table with her just out of arms reach. She is trying to get him used to her so that hopefully he will take a peanut from her. That will make a great shot. He’s so fun to photograph lol. sorry about all the blue jay shots everyone. I have photoshoped this slightly for a bit of a softer texture

This is Sass Junior. He came for a peanut last night and i was shocked to see he’s lost all his down feathers around his neck… poor little guy. He also smacked pretty hard into the front window a few mins ago. I was terrified we had a tragedy but he seems to be ok. Slightly stunned but sitting in the tree telling me off at the moment.

ORIGINAL AVAILABLE / view my current eBay listings It occurred to me that I could say this was meant as an environmental statement and that I’d been listening to Midnight Oil…..but alas there is no denying….me being the way I am…..I was just trying to paint a horny looking tree :-p currently listening to: I Feel Love – Donna Summer medium: acrylic, coloured pencils on 185gsm Arches watercolour paper. This was a coloured pencil drawing which I’d lost interest in and got buried under a pile of crap for about 4 months. I found it this morning whilst tidying up and decided to paint over it, leaving small areas of coloured pencil visible, for a change in texture. It came good….YAY :-) size: 42cm x 59.4cm (A2)

Multi-function meets art! My Service Series is created from reclaimed wood, as I found these wooden trays on the side of the road (about 100 of them!), and thought wow these would make excellent serving trays! I have always been service oriented and the hostess with the mostess always looking for a new serving tray, but I could never find one that really spoke to me, so now I’ve made my own. Service Series: Pincurl Girls / Mixed Media (latex and acrylic artists colors on reclaimed wood with copper pipes and cabinet handles added) / 2009 / $675
