Worn Rabbit is an extension from the original series of 9 Animal Designs that are 4” x 4” canvas blocks that I created at end of 2007. I’ve utilised the selected pink or acrylic from the original series and inks on a distressed photo that I took and printed out on paper from one of my many sketch pads. The animal design series represents what we could be left with if we don’t take care of nature and all it’s creatures. With their charming toy like appearance, they could just end up like childhood memories.

Pure Watercolour on Arches 140lb…. I try to paint all my flowers from life, No pre drawing, just wetting the paper, dropping in some pale washes of pigment and see where it takes me.. It allows so much more freedom…..

NOW That everything changes when we start to see that life is suppose to be FUN and we can allow the infinite possibilities to formulate the best path for our desires to manifest. I have never seen this more true than my own life. As everyday I soften my thinking to better feeling thoughts I experience new vista’s to guide me towards that which I am becoming and that which I desire. Coloured Pencil and Ink on 280 gsm Glass Ivory Paper - / (40cm x 60cm) Worked on this one for over a week, through the wee small hours of the mornings. All my art is cathartic, it’s how I balance my life, creating is my reason to go on. When I’m up I create, when I’m down I create, creativity is my balance. I did this as one of my first experiments into coloured pencil art, and found the whole ‘colouring in’ process so very relaxing and calming. I couldn’t help but feel happyness and joy while doing this. I spent every moment I could as a child, laying on my tummy, drawing, colouring.
