This has been asked in the Redbubble Forums: Has the Bubble Burst-...
This has been asked in the Redbubble Forums: Has the Bubble Burst ? Getting back to the original question, I don’t believe the bubble has burst. To reuse that analogy, the bubble has mutated, split off into so many new areas that the bubble is now the “vapour of a massive cloud” and evolved so many times that I am sure Pilgrim, Paul and Peter are openly amazed at the journey so far! Connecting that with all the preceding comments: When I first joined (around 2years ago), yes, it was a small cosy group of people. I suggested changing the default sales option to cards instead of framed, and this was changed overnight! But then I watched as Redbubble grew from a small village of strangers into a massive metropolis of cliques. I (have) watched the forums disappear off into the distance like the armoury on “MATRIX”. Yet none of this matters. Because I am using Redbubble as it was FIRST intended: A portfolio of a person’s BEST art for the purpose of SELLING. Yes, Redbubble get a cut of my profits … but for the effort they’re putting into their part of the FREE-TO-REGISTER contract, it’s worth it. At the end of the day: Community is important, Individuality is vital, and looking after #1 is the goal. Are you more concerned with the feel-good part of Redbubble, or the sale of your art? I’m off to promote my art to new and current friends, family and colleagues, retail and corporate locations, plus anyone who is seeing my activity on the internet.
RedBubble is a great place to find art, design, photos and writing from over 80,000 talented people.
