An explosion of love and LUST!
Orgasm / 12”x24” Japanese Black Ink
FROM WIKIPEDIA – ORGASM / An orgasm (sexual climax) is the conclusion of the plateau phase of the sexual response cycle, and may be experienced by both males and females. Orgasm is characterized by intense physical pleasure, controlled by the involuntary, or autonomic, nervous system. It is accompanied by quick cycles of muscle contraction in the lower pelvic muscles, which surround the primary sexual organs and the anus. Orgasms are often associated with other involuntary actions, including muscular spasms in other areas of the body, a general euphoric sensation, and frequently, vocalizations. A clay sculpture 800mm tall, this epic work is based on a poem named “Pantera” by Hugh McCrae. It took me more than 50 hours to sculpt it, and another 50 to paint it. It’s all about satisfaction- the girl on the base has had hers, the girl on top is getting hers right this minute, and that clearly very talented bloke is next in line.
Just a card, some words I wrote.. I thought might be a good gift for a lover.. who knows?
Marbellous just marbellous
I recently had a new experience with a close friend, it was pretty full on body tingling, emotions roaring, bathed in light kind of moment. He was pretty concerned that there was something wrong because I looked very flushed and got teary, haha. And I felt the need to represent this in my art. I usually do fairly dark personal works dealing with depression and such, so it was refreshing to come up with a lighter work dealing with my sexual pleasure without actually resorting to the exhibition of sexual organs.

Like their marine cousins, the sea turtles, tortoises are shielded from predators by a shell. The top part of the shell is the carapace, the underside is the plastron, and the two are connected by the bridge. The tortoise has both an endoskeleton and an exoskeleton. Tortoises can vary in size from a few centimeters to two meters. Tortoises tend to be diurnal animals with tendencies to be crepuscular depending on the ambient temperatures. They are generally reclusive animals. Testudo is a genus of tortoises found in North Africa, western Asia, and Europe. Several species are under threat in the wild, mainly from habitat destruction. Turtles and tortoises are frequently depicted in popular culture as easygoing, patient, and wise creatures, snapping turtles aside. Due to their long lifespan, slow movement, sturdiness, and wrinkled appearance, they are an emblem of longevity and stability in many cultures around the world. Turtles are regularly incorporated into human culture, with painters, photographers, poets, songwriters, and sculptors using them as subjects. They have an important role in mythology around the world, and are often implicated in creation myths regarding the origin of the Earth. Sea turtles are a charismatic megafauna and are used as symbols of the marine environment and environmentalism. As a result of its role as a slow, peaceful creature in culture, the turtle can be misconceived as a sedentary animal; however, many types of turtle, especially sea turtles, frequently migrate over large distances in oceans. This work started as a sketch on a napkin in a pub. It raised some eyebrows from some of the bar flies, so I went home and finished it… about 8 months later. Originally black pen on cartridge paper, this version has a tint to it via the all knowing Photoshop. For a period of time, as a teenager, I worked exclusivley in an ink called Neutral Tint. Lots of airbush doodling etc. The ink is a blue / black tint, the colour I’ve loosley attempted to replicate here. Stare at her for while. / Hear her. / Watch her. / She wants you here.
