Hello Friends, / I was asked by Trudi to do a poem for her latest flower and one look at it made the poem easy to write. / Her Orchid is wonderful as you can see here. Breathless. / How can a thing be so pure it brings me to a pause. / I look at it a dozen times and still my heart comes to a stop. / What wonders can that man above show me everyday? / And then I open up my eyes and see you standing there. / You come from out of the earth a place thats only brown. / And then you turn to a soft green as you start to grow. / Then your quiet for awhile and take me by surprise! / And then I look and what I see is your beauty before my eyes. / What wonders do you offer me you take my breath away. / I look at you and ask myself I think the Lords at play. / He teases me with your beauty and makes me wonder why? / How can a thing thats so lovely bring me to a pause. / Your beauty takes all words out of my mouth to describe exactly what I see. / It’s then that I know what beauty truly is… it’s you standing there for me. I’m sorry if I have been a little absent the last couple of days…I have been trying my hand at re-decorating the room that has my computer in it…I have decided that I don’t have a future in Painting and Decorating…it’s going up and down the ladder and cleaning all the rollers & brushes thats killed it for me LOL! Anyway I have just seen that my “Orchid” pic has been featured in the Only Orchids! group. So i thought I’d share the news with you all! The rest of the weekend I’ll be away too as my son is in his soccer Cup Final tomorrow and has prize giving on Sunday!!
