Every day hundreds, if not thousands of goblins, orcs, ogres and trolls, find themselves on the wrong end of a variety of pointy weapons and sorcerous incantations. Wearing this t-shirt, featuring a rather pathetic example of the species, will help raise awareness of the plight of these magical creatures. “The Atlas Of Dreams” is an ongoing project started in 1999. Each ‘plate’ is composed of several different images combined to create something greater than the sum of its parts. Source images include historic engravings, NASA photos of space and the Earth’s surface, abstract images, the artwork of my father: Gus Maier, and of course my own artwork – recycled and reused. Watch out for stray butterflies, fish, snakes, and other animals… Color Plate 63 combines a photograph from stock.xchng member ‘Half Orc’ (matomalac) with a ‘blow art painting’ created by my father, Gus Maier. The frame is derived from one of my friend Brad Hitz’s Deterioration series of darkroom paintings.

Spathoglottis is a genus of tropical, terrestrial orchids with 40+ species. The foliage is palmlike with showy flower spikes producing successive flowering over time. Flower colors range from purple to yellow to white. Sometimes referred to as “Garden Orchids”, Spathoglottis offer year round color in landscape ground beds in warm climates as well as an interesting summertime flowering patio plant for cooler climates.

The Paphiopedilums (genus Paphiopedilum) – often abbreviated Paph and colloquially known as paphs in horticulture – are flowering plants in the orchid family (Orchidaceae). It contains about 80 accepted species nowadays, some of which are natural hybrids. the next set of designs are going to be pirate themed (crossbones)... and also fantasy themed, i might have to buy them for me, i really like how they’re turning out so far… next up is goblin n’ crossbones… i’m hoping these will appeal to the rpg gamer society =)... pencil, extra fine/bold tipped ink pens, and digi-colors…
