Something besides portraiture for a change! This piece won the College Foundation Purchase Award in the student art show I entered last April. It was my first ever entry into an art show, and I was shocked and elated that I actually won something. Needless to say, I am very proud of this image. © Cadence Gamache This piece was nominated into the Pay It Forward group by the wonderful Melanie Dooley. to get these awesome colours i cut shapes out of the fabric i dyed, with other mixed media stuff, like sequins and gutta outliners, this was so fun!
