Last Anzac day we had a fireworks show down at Brighton Jetty (on south austrlia’s western coast) just after the sun went down. Here’s what i came up with. / ps. This was taken near Clare, two hours north of Adelaide, South Australia, on New Year’s Eve. The colours depicted a hot summer and a perfect end to that year. The power lines drew my eye to the distance and in a sense to the future, and all that it held. This was taken using a Canon DSLR EOS 350D. This shot was featured in the Simple by Design Group.

These autumn colours and reflections were taken at Oakbank, Adelaide Hills, South Australia, Australia, in autumn (obviously). I used a Canon DSLR EOS 350D on a tripod. This is an HDR shot. I used 3 shots merged together with Photomatix Pro. This was details enhanced.

Sgwd Isaf Clun-Gwyn waterfall, in the heart of the Brecon Beacons, South Wales. A really enchanting place to visit…..though the walk to it is not for the faint hearted! Canon 400D + sigma 10-20 and filters. 2secs @ iso 100

What a glorious sky! (even if I do say so myself!) 3 bracketed exposures blended in Dynamic Photo HDR. I used the Canon 5D with 16-35mm at 16mm, f/8, three different exposures, ISO 50, and just one Lee filter at this stage, ND grey 0.9soft, tripod and cable release. Late evening, bold sky and silhouetting the remains of the old Port Willunga jetty, Port Willunga, South Australia. A favourite spot for photographers and it is rare to visit on a night without running into others with cameras!!! Canon 400D 18-55 lens with CIR Polarising filter. Converted in Photoshop CS3.

Late afternoon at Port Willunga South Australia. Looking out towards the setting sun through the remains of the Old Jetty structure. Not overly sure about the colours here, strange evening with orange red clouds and just dark enough to get a slight amount of motion in the foreground. Canon 400D, 18 -55 lens, CIR Polarising filter coupled with an ND4. Wet legs and a wet tripod, standing out in the water trying to avoid waves!!!!!!

Yes their back! The ladybirds from Mount Burr made an emergence yesterday with thousands massing in a number of spots within the forest. This group were huddled together in their hundreds on a power pole just above ground level. As with all things in life there is always one or two who stand out in a crowd. Canon 400D 18-55 taken at night with aid of a speedlight. Processed in Photo shop CS3.
