The complete and real title is : “Poupée – InnerSelf”. I asked to myself : Stars… They bright the sky, our eyes, our mind & soul. They are inside of us. We always look for them, for these glimpses of lights and happiness. / Do we really know ourselves? / Do we realize that we have all of this inside of us? / What are we in fact? / As we don’t really look in the correct place, we don’t really know ourselves i decided to ‘almost’ delete the face. This is a composite photo taken in Shalimar, FL near the edge of the bay. It was a glorious summer night. I applied the NIK skylight filter to deepen the reds in the picture. I also shot the sun on the same night to the west of the bank. I’ve combined them for a rich summer night shot. / /

This is my beautiful friend Nathalie, in a Tara-style portrait….all photos and textures used my own, with the exception of the original photo of Nat. :) The brightly coloured background image is a pastel drawing my girls and I did together a few weeks ago. 18×24 acrylic on canvas I painted this one for The Divine Feminine’s challenge “Loving Ladies”. This is my favorite goddess of Love, Lakshmi. This is not your traditional painting of Lakshmi, for instance, I didn’t give her 4 arms. But I think it captures her beauty and femininity. Lakshmi is also the goddess of beauty and wealth. She is kind of like the goddess of the law of attraction. In truth, Lakshmi teaches us to accept our beauty and to find true happiness in the realization of the abundance of our soul.
