A nice Aussie outback scene. The location is about 45min drive north of Goondiwindi, on a back road through to Yelarbon. It’s all quite standard scrub the entire way, except for this one area of sand ridge with different vegetation. Quite nice to look at.

Uluru is an amazing place, filled with rich vibrant colour and steeped in tradition and story time. I took this photo on my last trip to Uluru. The sunrise had just finished and the tourist buses were beginning to leave. This gave me a great opportunity to capture the rich colour at this time of day but without the crowds. To add another element to the composition I decided to include the Kangaroo Road Sign. / / Photo Taken: 29-Nov-2005 / Time: Early, 7:30am / Conditions: Beautiful clear morning / / / / / / / / / / Some other Australian Red Centre art: / / / /

Driving along this almost deserted highway we spotted this Love heart, somewhere between Uluru and Kings Canyon. An amazing piece of work, literally in the middle of nowhere. Hence the title, Love is all around…even in the middle of nowhere….. A spectacular Sunrise I spotted as I headed to work.
As this has been my most popular image on the bubble i thought i would write some info about it. This image was taken with a point and shoot camera – Panasonic TZ3. Taken at a farm in Boorowa in outback NSW at dusk the colours are very barely tweaked however the bird was added post production. Until recently i had both images posted this one has been far more popular. I just fell in love with these old dead skeleton trees. / Thanks for reading :)
This sunrise shot was taken north of Broken Hill in western NSW. For better viewing, click on ‘view larger’.
