This tiny but beautiful little creature lives on the side of the dock at the marina..it’s from 1/4 to 1 inch long and is hard to find unless you get down on all fours and almost stick your head in the water. Taken with a Pentax waterproof camera.

This one of several shells I collected from the sea shore on a visit to Shoreham beach, Victoria. The beautiful opalescent colours are enhanced in this macro image. The image is untouched. Taken with a Sony Cyber-shot (Model DSC-W50) 6.0 Megapixel compact digital camera.
Made in Ultra Fractal 5 and Photoshop CS. This is a Dist. Est. Ikenaga fractal, an unusual shape that inspired me to explore. I originally set out to make another piece of fractal jewelry, but ended up with a shape that looked a lot like an angelfish. I used Photoshop to add the fractal background and texture, and added a layer style to give the golden outline some shape. PLEASE LOOK AT THIS IN FULL VIEW. THE SMALLER, PREVIEW IMAGE MAKES IT LOOK AWFUL. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING.
Made in Ultra Fractal 5. I’ve been making Spring images to cheer me up through this constant March snow. We just had another blizzard last night. At least the two area ski resorts are happy. This piece was featured in FRACTAL PERCEPTION on March 28, 2009.
14×20 ochre felt mat board. Original available. Still playing and experimenting and having a grand time at it… had some difficulty with this one as well. The pastel seems to like falling apart in globs and, landing – of course – where it would look HORRIBLE. Masking tape is such a wonderful way of picking it up without making a mess of the art… Complete 2009

Located in Black Sand Basin in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, USA / Opalescent Pool is another colorful pool, and has a cooler temperature than other thermal features at Black Sand Basin. Early in its history Opalescent was a boiling spring, surrounded by smaller springs. By the early 1950s it was nearly a dry pool. The Spouter Geyser began erupting and its run-off flowed into Opalescent Pool. The increased water flow flooded the surrounding area, killing the lodgepole pine. Since then silica has precipitated upon the dead tree trunks creating the white skeleton of trees. This silica, a non-crystalline compound, slowly impregnates the wood and over time, with the absence of oxygen, could eventually petrify the wood. Opalescent Pool offers a magnificent contrast in its natural creation of white skeletons amidst a rainbow colored pool. Canon XSi, lens 18-58mm, f/8, 1/640 sec, ISO-200.
Fractal Butterfly design T-shirt. The butterfly symbolises a beautiful rebirth and new beginning. Fractal created in Tierazon and a great deal of postwork in PS.
No not advocating the use of any illegal substance this image was the result of relief after the lifting of a very heavy blanket of anxiety. / The title is happily frivolous.
Made in Ultra Fractal 5. I’m uploading my older fractals to make room for the Christmas ones I’m making now. This one is from 2008. If you listen closely, you may hear echoes of the ocean.
The White Peacock, our proud mascot, is a bird who is not afraid to open its feathers and show its magnificence to the world. A creature of inspiration to us humans who are often timid to display our true colors, the White Peacock chooses to reflect all the Earth’s colors in its opalescence. / Woven into the myths and belief systems of cultures worldwide, the Peacock presents itself through the sciences of Alchemy and Roman Astrology, the religions of Islam and Christianity, as well as in Egyptian, Celtic, Chinese, and Indian cultures. / Photograph of an etched table design, edited in photoshop7 with various filtering and redfield plug-in fractilius.
