Its all in the title. This isn’t just an ordinary Church Spire. I am told its a copy of the Spire at St Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh. This is actually what I would consider the most prominant landmark in Peebles. Peebles is a small Scottish Borders Town which lies about 20 miles south west of Edinburgh. Its possibly my most popular image to date out here in the real world. Made the Redbubble Home Page on the 29th of August 2008. I wonder who it was that left this beautiful old car behind in the middle of no where? This mystery is what I love about these old wrecks, so many bits and pieces taken from the old girl, maybe to help another breakdown get going again? This beautiful wreck was about 50 klms out of Mildura, on the way to Mungo National Park, on the unsealed and rough road. Canon 50D, 15mm. Available large, and best viewed large!

Yesterday was the tapering of the autumn storm. Storm tears roofs and knock down trees.
