Went home for the weekend and saw this broken down bus sitting behind a bar….So i decided to track through the snow to get a couple of shots

The icicles on this old and rather dirty red brick building were found on its south side. The building itself is located at the Utah State Fairpark in Salt Lake City, USA. The image for me evoked not only cold, icy and wintery, but also isolation, dreariness and a sense of being trapped in one aspect or another. Maybe it was the juxtaposition of the winter ice and cold coupled with the drab brick and the old fenced in windows. Solitary confinement would make anyone cold.

Whilst driving the back roads of Wisconsin, I found this lovely old property with a gated road leading to a distant pond. I loved the rustic look of the fence and the barely used track paved with leaves and framed by bare branched trees.
