Looking down Flinders street, Melbourne on a wintry afternoon.

This shot was taken in Copacabana in 2006, a little town in the north of Bolivia, situated on the bank of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world at 3800 mts. / There was a big celebration in town that day and so much to see and discover. But I was so tired that I decided to sit down and rest for a while when those two men sat just in front of me. I took so many pictures of them but this one is my favorite. Click /

Went to Halifax for the first time on Saturday, i n the really old Market hall in the centre was this beautiful little flower stall, i had to get a shot of, hope you like it.

Wandering through the back streets of the old town was heavenly, at every turn there were wonders to behold, the long things hanging outside the shop are actually candles.

FEATURED NOV 2009 COMMUNITIES / FEATURED NOV 2009 POSTCARD STYLE / Dubrovnik drenched by the morning sun. Shot Summer 2006, at 8 am, from the Old Town Walls, looking at the clocktower at the southern end of Stradun. One can see the extensive post-war repair work to the rooftops, and the difference between the origianl tiles, and the new regular ones. Dubrovnik has been listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site since 1979. We are luckyenough to call this city our second home. Nikon D70s; Nikon 70-300mm lens; f/4.2; 1/2000sec; 75mm focal length.

This is a beautiful little community snuggled high up in the mountains near Maricopa, California. During a visit today I took this shot and then processed it in CS3 with textures, filters and effects. This is the little town where I found the man I used in the “Character Portrait” image uploaded earlier. In fact, my wife and I went there for a memorial service for my cousin and that entire community turned out. The gentleman in the character image was a friend of my cousins for many years, whom I had never met before. Wonderful people whom I thank for their hospitality.
